Health and Wellness | Billings Head Start

We believe that health and wellness are the foundation of school readiness. To keep our students healthy and well, we employ a full-time Health Specialist who assists with hearing and vision screenings, dental education, growth assessments, and more.

We hold regular safety drills and have an Emergency Response Plan in place at each of our sites. All of our staff members are 1st Aid and CPR Certified. All enrolled students are given regular health screenings and parents are assisted in establishing medical and dental homes.

Head Start has a Health Services Advisory Committee consisting of local Doctors, Dentists, and other Health Professionals that regularly advise our program on health policies and procedures.
